Manna Terms of Service
Effective date: August 14, 2026
These Terms are an agreement between you and Inyeon LLC, a New York limited liability company ("Inyeon," "we," "us"), covering your use of the Manna app and service (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms are separate from the Inyeon business platform's Terms of Service, which govern a different, business-only service.
1. What Manna is
Manna writes a short, personal devotional each morning, grounded in the Christian tradition you choose, with citations to scripture and the historic confessions. It also offers "This Moment", which pairs a photo you take with a fitting verse and a short reflection you can share.
Manna is a devotional companion. It is not a church, a pastoral-care service, or a substitute for professional advice — medical, financial, legal, or otherwise. The content is written by a machine and is offered for reflection only.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live. If you are under the age of majority, you may use the App only with a parent or guardian's permission and involvement.
3. Your account
You sign in with an email address or phone number through Inyeon's hosted sign-in page. Your credential is held by Inyeon, not Manna. Keep that credential to yourself, and tell us at team@inyeon.dev if you think someone else has access. You are responsible for activity under your account.
4. AI-generated content
Devotionals and "This Moment" reflections are written by a language model. They can be wrong — a citation can be misattributed, a passage can be misread, a reflection can miss the mark. We design the App to ground every devotional in your tradition and in real source text, but we do not warrant that any generated content is theologically, factually, or otherwise correct. Treat it as an aid to your own reflection, not as instruction.
You are responsible for what you do with it, including anything you share.
5. Acceptable use
Do not:
- Use the App to harass, defraud, or harm anyone.
- Upload photos that are illegal, that infringe someone's rights, or that you do not have the right to have processed by a model.
- Probe, scrape, reverse engineer, overload, or bypass rate limits, authentication, or access controls.
- Resell or redistribute the App, or use it to build a competing service.
We may suspend or close an account that does these things.
6. Your content
The reflections you create and the photos you submit remain yours. You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, and process them — including sending a "This Moment" photo to our AI provider as described in the Privacy Policy — solely to operate the App for you. This license ends when the content is deleted. You confirm you have the right to submit what you submit.
7. Free and paid plans
The App is free to use, with up to three "This Moment" reflections per day. A Pro plan lifts that limit and adds email delivery of each morning's devotional.
Pro is sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play. That store handles the transaction, the renewal, and the refund, under its own terms, and you manage or cancel the subscription in your store account. We receive the store's verification to unlock the plan; we never receive your payment card details. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the current period unless the store's policy says otherwise. Prices may change on notice, and a change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
Nothing in the App is a promise that a paid feature will exist forever. If we discontinue a paid feature, we will refund the unused portion of a prepaid period.
8. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App. We aim to give notice of anything material. The App is not guaranteed to be available at all times, and features that depend on third parties — sign-in, push notifications, AI generation — can fail independently of us.
9. Ending it
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy, Section 9). We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, or if we are required to. Sections 1, 4, 6, and 10 through 14 survive termination.
10. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any generated content is accurate, complete, or appropriate for you.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Inyeon is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data.
Our total liability arising out of or relating to the App will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) fifty US dollars.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.
12. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold Inyeon harmless from claims and costs arising out of your content, your use of the App, your breach of these Terms, or your sharing of generated content.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Talk to us first. Before filing anything, email team@inyeon.dev with a description of the problem and what you want. We will try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days.
If that fails, the state and federal courts located in New York County, New York have exclusive jurisdiction, and both of us consent to venue there. You may still bring an individual claim in a small claims court that has jurisdiction over you. Nothing here waives any right you have under the mandatory consumer protection law of the place you live.
14. General
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about the App. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our not enforcing something is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger or sale of the business.
We may update these Terms. We will change the effective date above, and for material changes we will notify you in the App before they take effect. Continuing to use the App after that means you accept the new Terms.
